    An extra clean and essentially unused BUTT MORTISE MARKING GAUGE, No. 95, by STANLEY. This special purpose gauge is in top condition in its original pasteboard box. It is finished with black japanning and may possibly have been produced during the Second World War when the nickel finish normally used on the gauges was in very limited supply and required for the war effort.
